Happy Monday!! For today’s Mommy Monday, I wanted to round up all of my favorite mommy blog posts, that I have done since I started blogging a year and a half ago. All these range from simple cleaning tips, holiday fun, to lunch ideas. Links to all the posts are below. Go check them out and let me know which one is your favorite. πŸ™‚

How to get Crayon off of Plastic

Now that I have a two year old, I find myself googling the oddest questions, most in which involve cleaning tips. Cleaning crayon off of plastic was one of them. As you can tell in the picture Maddie went a little cray-cray with her crayons, and I was left to figure out how in the world do you clean this off? So this post shows a few simple steps to cleaning crayon off of toys, that is effective and safe to use around your kiddos.

Toddler Girl OOTD

This next post is a simple toddler outfit I shared back in January. This link will take you to the post and show you where I purchased everything. It’s so cute to see this, I loved putting her in those little booties. They’re too small for her now, its so sad. 😦 Oh how time fly’s.

6 Lunch Ideas for your Toddler

Here is a post I did back in August, where I show 6 lunch ideas for your toddler that are easy and healthy. I put together lunch ideas that my daughter loves, while still incorporating different fruits and veggies. There is also aΒ  Youtube video, that I did that goes along with this post. It’s crazy that this was almost a year ago. She has changed so much in a year, and eats so many new things. I’ll have to do an updated version. πŸ™‚

Toddler Halloween Pumpkin Costume

Last couple of years I had so much fun making my daughter’s costumes. Her first Halloween, she was a ghost, and then this past October she went as a pumpkin. This turned out so cute. Here is the link to how I made her pumpkin costume step by step. I have a feeling this year she’s going to want more say in her costume. #divaintraining

Make your own Snow

My next post I mentioning was a fun indoor activity for young kiddos. We did this when it was a bit colder outside. It was very easy to make, inexpensive and a great activity for fine motor development. She had a blast with this, it would really be perfect for anytime of the year. The only thing that would have made it 10x better, is if we added some little toys that she could play with in her tub of fake snow. πŸ™‚

Hand-print Christmas Plates

This was my very first blog post ever. I had so much fun making these for all of my family for Christmas. We get to display them every Christmas and I just love them. They are truly the best keepsake. πŸ™‚Β  These were very inexpensive, just using white plates from the Dollar Tree and some acrylic paint. The link above will take you to the post where I show you step by step how I made them all :). The Grinch plates were defiantly my favorite.

Homemade Playdough

I love this idea for a fun activity for kids either for a rainy day or even for a birthday party. It’s a great way to build their fine motor skills all while having fun, and who doesn’t love play dough. πŸ™‚ Since it is homemade, it is safe just in case your little one decides to have a little taste test. πŸ˜‰

6 Easy Toddler Girl Hairstyles

I love being able to style my daughters hair, when she let’s me that is. For the blog post I put together 6 toddler girl hairstyles that are cute and easy to do.

Doing a little mommy post recap definitely gave me inspiration for future blog posts. I hope this was helpful to any mommy’s out there. Stay tuned for more Mommy Mondays. If you have any suggestions or post ideas you would like me to do, I would love to hear from you in the comments below.

As always thanks for stopping by.

Mommy Monday: How to Make Play Snow

Who says you can’t have fun staying indoors πŸ˜‰
Being a stay at home mom, I am always on the look out for fun activities to keep my little one entertained. Now that we are in January and the weather is very unpredictable, it’s nice to have some indoor activities that are easy to put together. This one was so much fun and kept her busy for quite a while. Which will give you time for all the other mommy things that you need to get done.
To make this fun project, all you need is 1/2 cup of shampoo and 2 cups of baking soda. I used a small storage container from the dollar store to hold all the mess. Just mix your ingredients in the tub and that it!! You have snow, well play snow that is. Not only was she having fun, but it’s a great activity that helps strengthen those fine motor skills πŸ™‚ So if your looking for something fun to keep your kiddos entertained when the weather is bad, this is perfect.
