Fall Trend: Camo

Today’s post is all about one of the ever popular and one of my favorite fall trends.

Camo, Camo and more Camo!!

While I don’t actually pay much attention to most trends that come and go every season, this is one I am jumping right on board with. Currently most of the camo items in my closet don’t fit (as I am very pregnant) but I still wanted to share some great affordable “camo finds” with you guys. It’s become such a popular print this fall that I’m pretty sure it’s  considered a neutral at this point. It’s defiantly one of those trends that will last longer into other seasons to come. So don’t worry about this look going out of style anytime soon.

Since camo print is such a big trend right now, that means there are so many great pieces in stores. I put together items from all my favorite stores from Nordstroms, Express, Target, and Payless just to name a few. Many of which are on sale or quickly selling out, so check them out while you can.

Favorite ways to wear:

-Some of my favorite colors to pair with camo print is with a darker orange, maroon, and even baby pink. Not to mention all the basics like white, tan and black, you can’t go wrong.

-If your wanting to have a little more fun with it even pairing it was black and white strips or even cheetah print can really make an outfit stand out.

-If your not looking to completely jump on the camo train right away, incorporating it in accessories is a great way to start, like in jewelry, shoes, bags, or even scarves.

Check out the items pictured above in the links below.

Utility Vest – One of my favorite things to add to any outfit is a vest. It can add a little more interest to a simple t-shirt and jeans. Love this camo one from Nordstroms, also comes in a grey color.

Back Pack – This back pack from Stella & Dot is perfect for if you are a mom or if your someone that is on the go a lot. Love the black leather detail and the floral print design on the inside.

Skinny Jeans  – These are great to pair with a simple cream sweater or even white tee with a black blazer to dress them up a bit.

Blanket Scarf – This camo scarf is a great way to try out the trend and is perfect for the colder moths.

Earrings – One thing that I have had my eye on are these statement leather earrings from one of my favorite bloggers, ONE little Momma. Love her style check out her blog and website to find more of her awesome jewelry. Nickel & Suede

Sneakers – Theses sneakers are so comfy and a perfect dupe for the Steve Madden versions. These are only $23!! So it’s a much better deal in my opinion.

Joggers  – Keeping casual with the camo trend, these Joggers are a great way to stay comfy and still look cute.

Wedge Bootie – I have to admit I am sucker for a wedge sneaker or bootie. They’re comfortable and give you a bit of height. Which being 5’3 I really do appreciate.

Boyfriend Button up ShirtONLY $35 – This button up shirt is currently on sale from Express and is a great way to dress up the camo trend.

Long Sweater – Great sweater to pair with leggings for a comfy casual outfit. I’m kind of thinking about getting this for myself, post baby.

Weekender Bag – Great size weekender bag for traveling. Stella & Dot has great quality bags, so this one will last you forever.

V-Neck TeeONLY $17 – Great layering piece from Target. Perfect to pair with skinny jeans and a oversized cardigan.

Cardigan ON Sale for $41- Love this long sweater with the black trim. I see these looking so cute with leather leggings. Is that just me?!

Twill Field JacketAlso Comes in 5 other colors – This Jacket from old navy is so versatile and one of their best best sellers for fall.

Will you be wearing Camo this fall?

Special Occasion Maternity Dresses

Yes, I’m back!! It’s been a while, so sorry for the lack of posts. This entire year has flown by and I have been seriously neglecting my blog. Now that I am further along in my pregnancy and getting close to the finish line, so to speak, I had this sudden urge to jump back into blogging. To be honest, I have missed it. I missed being able to share more fashion ideas, beauty buys, and especially more mommy and baby posts. At the moment, I am almost 37 weeks and this past month has been crazy busy to say the least. Just like the title of my blog, life has been one hot mess at the moment, but what’s new. So why not add some blogging back into the mix, right?!

For today’s post I wanted to share some of my favorite maternity dresses for any of those special occasions coming up. Many of these dresses below are budget friendly and on sale for a limited time. I know that finding things that fit while your pregnant but not spending a fortune can be some what of a challenge. So I am here to help. I’m all about finding flattering pieces that won’t break the bank, especially when you can only wear them for such a short time.

The dress I am wearing is on sale at the moment for %30 off. – Floral Dress – The thing that really sold me on this dress is that it’s not an over the shoulder, but still has that similar look. One of my biggest challenges after having my first child is finding the right bra especially a strap less one. With this dress I didn’t have to worry about that. I could wear my normal bra with out having to pull up on anything or have everything go a little south, if you know what I mean. 😉

Check out the great deals below, all dresses are linked in order from left to right.

1. Lace Maternity Dress – On Sale for $67 *Comes in 4 other colors*

Black Tank Dress + 8 Classic Pendant Necklaces

Hello friends!! Today’s item is a black tank dress from the Nordstroms that I am obsessed with. I love how this outfit turned out with all the mix of different neutrals. Since I bought this dress online I was real worried about the fit but it fits true to size. It’s very figure flattering and sill simple enough to dress up or down. You could easily layer this in the winter time like I did here or add some fun heels for a night out. Definitely a new staple piece in my wardrobe.
