August Favorites 2021// Makeup, Skincare, Hair Care…..Lots from the Drugstore

Today I’m sharing all of my August favorites that have been my staples for the past month or longer. I know it’s mid September but I wanted to share all the things I’ve been really loving from makeup, hair care, and skincare (a lot of which are drugstore). I love drugstore products! There are so many great products you can find that are sometime even better than the high end ones. To go along with this post I also made my first YouTube video in a very long time. So forgive me for any technical issues, I defiantly had a few 🙂 So check it out if you want to see all these products up close. Let me know if you’ve tried any of these and which products you’ve been loving for the past month.

Clinique all about eyes – My favorite eye cream at the moment. I keep this in the fridge and use it in the morning on my eyelids or around my under eyes. I have very sensitive eyes and this has always worked for me.

Clinique dramatically different moisturizing gel – I had very oily/combination skin and this is the face lotion that always works for me. I feel like I’ve tried so many out there and this is the one I always go back to. It doesn’t over moisturizer. It’s the right balance if you have oily/combination skin.

Pixie detoxify eye patches – The best eye patches ever ! I keep these also in the fridge and they feel so good when you wake up and apply them to your under eyes. They have cucumber & caffeine in them so it really wakes up the skin and calms down any redness or puffiness.

Tree hut vitamin c shade sugar scrub – This is a very affordable body scrub that’s great for sensitive skin. I love the smell of this. I will definitely be repurchasing.

Pixie vitamin c priming oil – I love using a vitamin c serum at night and this is the one I’m currently using. I love how it feels on the skin and it’s very moisturizing. I tend to like a lot of stuff from this brand when it comes to skin care.

Clean it Zero Makeup Removing Balm– My favorite new makeup remover. It turns into a oil once you rub in into your palms and takes off every bit of your makeup. You don’t need a lot, it removes everything, and I can’t say enough good things about it.

Hair care:

R+co Outer Space Flexible Hairspray This flexible hairspray smells amazing. It smells like you’re in a high-end salon. I love that it doesn’t leave your hair crunchy or sticky just gives it a very healthy look keeping it in place.

It’s a 10 miracle Leave in product – This is my one of my holy grail products.  It de-tangles and conditions and I feel like my hair completely transforms when I use this. Try if you haven’t,you’ll thank me later 🙂

Living proof  Dry Shampoo – My new favorite dry shampoo. I feel like most people rave about this stuff. I tried it for the first time this summer and I love it! It does leaves a white cast but rub it in , it will go away. It really does soak up every oil and gives you volume. It’s hard to find anything that compares to this one.

Make up:

Airspun original formula loose face powder – Very affordable loose powder that really modifies. It’s the original formula with the original packing and it does have a very intense smell but it still works very well.

Morphe eye shadow palette “truth or bare” – My everyday, most used eye palette. It has every nude shade that you need and I love that it’s only $18.

Maybelline master precise eyeliner black  – My favorite felt tip eye liner. It is easy to use and lasts a long time.

Essence volume stylist flash extension mascara – I new favorite of mine and also very affordable. It’s a dryer formula mascara that really sticks to every lash and really gives them a voluminous look.

Milani blush in “luminoso” – One of Miliani’s best sellers is this blush in the shade “luminoso”. It’s a peachy shade with a bit of a shimmer to it. I feel like it really flatters a more yellow undertone skin.

Maybelline master strobing stick highlighter – Love this highlight! The fact that it’s a stick formula makes it real easy to apply right where you want it.  It’s very creamy, so rub it in quickly otherwise, it can leave it looking streaky.

Elf poreless putty primer – My favorite new primer is from elf. It’s a very thick consistency and goes on the skin very easy and has a sticky feeling that really adheres to your foundation.

It cosmetics CC cream in the shade “fair/ light” – My favorite foundation for summer. Has 50 SPF with medium to full coverage. I will say, they have a very limited shade range.

Milani lipstick in nude cream – I’ve used this lipstick for a long time. It’s one of my favorite shades and has a light watermelon scent to it. They have many other colors, I love this formula it’s creamy consistency with a bit of shine to it.

Maybelline lip gloss “reef” – Love this new gloss from Maybelline. It’s not too sticky feeling and it just gives you a slight plumping look without being tingly in any way. It’s supposed to be a dupe for the Fenty lip gloss.

Victoria Emerson bracelets – These are my favorite bracelets at the moment. They always have really good sales so if you’re looking for a fun new piece check them out. They have a huge selection. You can find just about anything on their website. Love how they have casual to dressy options as well.

Thank you again for stopping by. Hope you enjoyed my August favorites and check out the video that goes along with it.

I’ll see you in the next one.
