Happy 1st of October friends or as us Texans say happy fall y’all!!
It’s been officially fall for an whole week, and for that whole week it’s been in the 90’s and the humidity has been brutal. But even though it still feels like summer here in Texas, I’m breaking out the fall decor in hopes that the cooler weather is just around the corner. Who’s with me??
Decorating is something I love to do but sometimes finding what you want can feel like a daunting task, especially if your on a budget. I can’t tell you how many times I catch myself mindlessly buying things without a plan or idea of how I’m actually going to put things together, only to get home realizing nothing goes together …. tell me I’m not the only one. (I do that with groceries as well) #scatterbrained
So I put together 3 little vision boards (as I like to call them) as a guide if you are looking for a theme to go by or just some cute affordable pieces to add to your home. Either way, I’m including pieces that are perfect for 3 separate themes: Halloween, harvest, and my personal favorite, farmhouse. Check out all three and let me know which one is your favorite. 🙂

Farmhouse
Love the buffalo check print for any holiday and mixed with the wood and metal pieces just gives a cozy feeling. If your a fan of Magnolia farms this style is up your alley. All these pieces are affordable and I love that all this can still last until Thanksgiving and some even into Christmas. The balance scale is one I actually just ordered for only $20.00 and I love it! Perfect size for a centerpiece.

Halloween
Halloween is my favorite holiday so if your like me this is defiantly for you. This is more on the fun side of the Halloween decorations. I feel like this type of theme you can really go all out or tone it way down. It seems it can go from mildly spooky to the down right dark and scary real quick. This one is defiantly for families with young kiddos, and getting the kids involved decorating just makes it that much more fun.
