Recipe : Spicy Dr. Pepper Pulled Pork

This is a yummy recipe that I got off of the Pioneer Woman’s website. It is so good and feeds a lot of people and easy to clean up. I have actually cooked this recipe many times before. I’m an not the best cook but I am good at following a recipe and this one is so easy and delicious.

If you like pulled pork you have to try this.

What you will need:
1 bottle of Dr.Pepper
1 Yellow Onion
1/4 c brown sugar
Chipotle Peppers in Adobe Sauce
Dutch oven
Salt and Pepper
Pork Shoulder
Chop onions in big chunks and add them first to your dutch oven.
Salt and pepper the fat side of the pork then put the pork in with the fat side facing up.
Add the can of chipotle peppers, brown sugar and the Dr. Pepper.
Put the lid on and cook in the oven for 6 hours on 300 degrees.

It is so delicious and tender the bone comes right off. The pioneer woman has some amazing recipes here is her website for this one.

FYI  – Using a slow cooker does not yield the same results – Ive tried

It goes great in flour tortillas topped with Cole slaw. I topped mine with an Asian chopped salad that is a complete recipe that you buy at the grocery store ready to mix. Its so easy and goes well with this pulled pork recipe.

It’s delicious!
